Jorgs Trust was registered as a charitable organization in Kenya in 2004. Its first centre, Jorgs Ark, opened in Tigoni in 2005.
The centres support people affected by alcohol and substance dependence through treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare. The approach includes individual and group therapy, recovery support and community reintegration.
Our kitchen facility and male ward are provided in separate buildings. Contact the team for current accommodation arrangements and to discuss who will support your care.

GETTING STARTED
From download to desktop.
Install the application
Download the installer above, open it and follow the Windows installation wizard. A Jorgs shortcut will appear on your desktop.
Connect to your hospital
Open Jorgs and enter the HTTPS server address supplied by your hospital administrator. Connect to the hospital network or VPN if required.
Sign in as yourself
Use your individual staff account. Computers connected to the same hospital server work with the same records.
Before you connect
The private hospital server has not been activated yet. You can download the application now; staff sign-in will be available after server setup.

Answers to common installation and connection questions.
Does the app open in a browser?
No separate browser tab is needed. This installer opens Jorgs in its own Windows desktop window. The website is where you download the installer and find guidance.
Can several computers share the same records?
Yes, when connected to the same configured hospital server. Each staff member signs in separately. Server deployment is pending; the download itself does not create a shared server.
What if Windows shows an unknown publisher?
This release has not been digitally signed. Follow your hospital’s software approval policy and ask your administrator before installation. Do not disable Windows security protections.
Is this release ready for real patient information?
No. Use fictional information for evaluation only. Clinical acceptance, departmental permissions, security and recovery validation, and DHA certification remain outstanding. Desktop launch testing also remains incomplete because its renderer could not start in the build environment.
Will it replace my older Jorgs installation?
The desktop client is separate from the earlier browser-based local edition. Existing local records are not automatically imported, deleted or moved to the shared server.
What if the app cannot connect?
Check your network or VPN, confirm the HTTPS address with your administrator, and use Jorgs → Reconnect. A live server with a trusted certificate and an active staff account is required.
